Sverresborg Trøndelag Folkemuseum is an open air historical folk museum in picturesque surroundings based around the ruins of King Sverre’s Castle. Norway’s oldest medieval castle. There are 80 buildings on site, where more than 20 buildings are open to the public.
The walk to the top of the ruins of King Sverre’s once monumental medieval castle, offers wonderful views of Trondheim and, not least, an insight into an exciting slice of the city’s history.
Professor Mørch's House is part of the brand new campus of the Norwegian Ocean Technology Centre, where NTNU Department of Marine Technology and SINTEF Ocean have their offices and auditoriums.
There are frequent bus transfers from the city centre of Trondheim to both Sverresborg and Tyholt.
The banquet will be at Ringve Museum
This is Norway’s national music museum with a collection of over 2000 instruments. The museum is seated on an old country estate just outside Trondheim’s city centre, and is surrounded by the beautiful Ringve botanical garden.
