The book "Havromsteknologi" has been developed by the Department of Marine Technology and colleagues to give introductory knowledge of marine technical subjects to young people.

The use of mathematics and physics in the book is coordinated with corresponding syllabus in high school and vocational school. Free sets of books are given to high schools around the country, and the book is also presently being translated into English for a wider distribution.
