Water Waves Workshop

Welcome to Water Waves Workshop
The second edition of the national Water Waves Workshop will be held at NTNU on March 2-4, 2027.
The conference aims to bring together researchers in Norway who work with all aspects of water waves. We welcome researchers from both applied and theoretical fields with the hope that participants can learn about each other's research and results and explore opportunities for new collaborations and applications.
Topics we hope to cover include
- Numerical methods for water waves
- Applications and models in oceanography and meteorology
- Wave energy
- Theory and modeling
- Applications in aquaculture, offshore wind, and shipping
- Observations and measurements
The conference will span 2,5 days. Participation is free but please register below. Lunch and dinner is included, but travel and accommodation must be arranged by the participant
In addition to the invited speakers, we have open slots for contributed scientific talks. If you are interested in giving a presentation (20 minutes), we encourage you to submit an abstract in the registration form and we will get back to you.
