About the project

The Ph.D. project aims to get deeper insight into the distribution and patterns of habitual physical activity and sedentary behaviour in ambulatory children and adolescents with CP in order to increase the ability to participate in habitual physical activity without being excessively fatigued. To achieve these three studies have been formed.

  1. Development and validation of a Human activity recognition (HAR) model for ambulatory children with CP
  2. Identify distribution and patterns of habitual physical activity in ambulatory children with CP.
  3. Youths with CP’s experience and reflection of their own distribution and patterns of habitual physical activity and experienced fatigue, and perspectives about activity monitoring as an aid.
