2-day seminar for PhD supervisors arranged in Dhulikhel, Nepal

The overall aim of the research school is to build capacity in global health research and strengthen the quality of PhD-training in low-and middle-income countries. In this seminar you will:

  • Reflect on your supervision practice,
  • Roles and relations in PhD supervision
  • Aligning expectations and organizing supervision meetings
  • Be introduced to tools, methods and mental models and try them out

The seminar will also be a valuable opportunity to share experiences, questions and discussion points on current challenges as supervisor and to build academic competence and expand your research network, for details see attached programme. The seminar is only open to those with personal invitation.

Tentative Program

Practical arrangements: There is no course fee, and the research schools will cover the costs of travel, meals and accommodation. Our administrative team will do the hotel reservation. However, we are not able to reimburse travels within your own country, such as eg taxis between Kathmandu - Dhulikhel.
