Head of Research at AugmentCity and OSC Ocean in Ålesund, Norway. Major received his M.Sc. degree in electronics and information technology from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Zürich, Switzerland (ETHZ) in 2005. He completed his industrial Ph.D. in the Department for Ocean Space and Civil Engineering, Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 2021.

Marine biologist with a PhD in marine photosynthesis and bio-optics from NTNU, where she worked at the biological station in Trondheim. She is employed as an environmental adivsor at NORBIT Aptomar in Trondheim and is working with technologies within marine environmental surveillance.

Kim Lynge Sørensen, CEO and Co-founder of UBIQ Aerospace. Sørensen is one of the founders and the CEO of UBIQ Aerospace. In 2014 he joined NASA Ames Research Centre as a visiting researcher, working on an autonomous icing protection solution for UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) as part of his doctoral studies. In 2016 he was rewarded with a PhD in Aerospace Cybernetics from NTNU, and in 2017 he became one of the founders of UBIQ Aerospace. In 2018, after 2 years as a post-doctoral fellow at NTNU AMOS, he officially joined UBIQ in the position he still holds as CEO.

Kasper Trolle BorupChief Technology Officer and Co-founder of UBIQ Aerospace. Borup is one of the founders and the CTO of UBIQ Aerospace. In 2014 he joined NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a visiting researcher working on navigation systems for micro aerial vehicles intended for missions on Mars. In 2017 he was part of a small group who founded UBIQ Aerospace. 2018 he was awarded a PhD in Aerospace Cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and in 2019, after a year as a post-doctoral fellow at NTNU, he joined UBIQ in the position he still holds as CTO.

She is also Adjunct Associate Professor at the Dept of Information Security and Communication Technology, NTNU. She holds a PhD in information security from NTNU. Former positions include Research Scientist at SINTEF Digital and Head of IT Security at SINTEF.
