Sámi City Walk

A city walk through Sámi history in Trondheim

About the project Sami City Walk

About the project Sami City Walk

The project group has developed a city walk with a digital guide adapted for mobile phones. The target audience is students in grades 8–13, but both the information and the city walk may also be of general interest. Both the digital guide and the website are planned to be translated into South Sámi and English.

Through the city walk and the digital guide, both residents and visitors can get better acquainted with Sámi history in the city. Additionally, they can read more about the places, people, and history on the website, which also contains links for further reading. The texts have been written by the project group, unless otherwise stated. Both the digital guide and the website are planned to be translated into South Sámi and English.

We welcome feedback from website users regarding content, user-friendliness, and any suggestions for development or school tasks. Feedback can be sent to Helen M. Murray.
