With its 2500 students, Ålesund offers an inclusive and close-knit student community. In Ålesund it is easy to get to know fellow students in your own and other fields of study, and you have close and constructive contact with lecturers and the academic environment. The student association (ÅSS) is responsible for most of the major events and get-togethers for students in Ålesund.

Our learning spaces are open to all students around the clock, and are used outside and training sessions as an academic and social meeting place across disciplines and years of study. This has led to an inclusive social network for students and a good study environment. Teaching staff are close at hand near the learning spaces. The programme has 15 places for students in Ålesund.
