Spanish (bachelor's programme)
The bachelor's programme in Spanish provides a thorough introduction to the Spanish language system in terms of structure. Linguistic differences between Norwegian and Spanish is emphasized. Oral and written language proficiency are important aspects in the course of study.
By working with Spanish texts, students are provided with basic knowledge of the history, political structure and culture of the Spanish speaking world.
The lectures are conducted in Spanish and Norwegian, and the program expects that you possess language skills equivalent to level 2 Spanish from secondary or upper secondary school.
The instruction is based on lectures and group work/tutorials. The course of study has rapid progression. Thus, students are recommended to actively participate in the lessons.
