Course content

Writing a project assignment within financial management and economics.

Learning outcome

- The students have insight into the academic contexts associated with self-chosen themes or issues.
- The students have knowledge of the possibilities and limitations of the research methodology.

- The students can develop a problem in consultation with the supervisor.
- The students can deliver a completed written work that highlights the problem along perspectives that are relevant in the field of financial management.
- The students can collaborate in a group of independent professional analyzes over time, and the ability to take advantage of the guidance offered.

General competence:
- The students understands what academic qualifications in task writing and research methodology are.
- The students know the value of structured argumentation and disposition of subject matter and expertise.

Learning methods and activities

Independent work, group work and supervision. Each group can get up to 4 hours of guidance.

Specific conditions

Admission to a programme of study is required:
Business Administration (BØA)
Business Administration (ØABACHELOR)

Required previous knowledge

The students must have participated in compulsory courses in the 5th semester as well as compulsory MET3001 course (or equivalent).
The course is only available to students with a right to study at the Bachelor of Economics and Administration program at NTNU School of Business.
