About

About the course

Course content

The subject will provide an introduction to theory that includes individuals, interaction and young people's activity related to physical education, sports and children's and youth sports. The individual perspective will mainly focus on children and young people's self-perception, motivation, development and learning. The interaction perspective will shed a light on social processes and the relationship between different actors (teacher/coach, athlete/student) in activity, training, sports and physical education. The young people's activity within the framework of physical education/physical education and sport is seen in a wider societal perspective. Group dynamics will be the overarching framework within which the various themes are understood.
