About the course
Course content
This course builds on the theory introduced in Computer Graphics I. In addition, students will learn how to apply this theory using advanced graphics engine. Introduction of tools and libraries for computer graphics. Graphics programming. Graphics primitives. Structure of a scene. Graphics pipeline. Shaders. Cameras. Lights. Raster and vector graphics in 2D and 3D. 3D viewing and perspective projections. Rasterization. Texturing. Colours. Lighting models.
Learning outcome
Knowledge: Have knowledge of selected topics in computer graphics. Have knowledge of algorithms and data structures used in computer graphics. Skills: Be able to demonstrate programming skills in advanced graphics engine. Be able to create interactive computer graphics using advanced graphics engine. General competence: Have general knowledge about the subject's possibilities and limitations. Have competence to analyze and communicate research questions within the field of computer graphics. Have general knowledge required to contribute to innovation in the field of computer graphics.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures, exercises, and discussions in groups and in plenum, and practical laboratory work. Mandatory exercises: 1-3 mandatory assignments that must be passed to gain admission to the examination.

The portfolio consists of a predefined number (3-10) of theoretical and project assignments. The assessment is an overall evaluation of the portfolio.
