Course content
The course provides an introduction to design methodology and iterative usability work. The focus is on the overall methodological understanding of human-centered and user-centered design approaches within product development, focusing on ideation and innovation.
Specific conditions
Admission to a programme of study is required:
Interaction Design (BIXD)
Web Development (BWU)
Recommended previous knowledge
-The course Ergonomics in digital media, or equivalent basic knowledge and skills related to design theory, user-centered design, universal design and qualitative methods such as observation and interview techniques.
-The course Colour in Interface Design, or equivalent basic knowledge and skills related to sketching and visualization.
-The course Mass Communication, Research methods and academic writing, or equivalent basic knowledge related to ethics, informed consent, data protection and legislation relevant for user centered design.
