Course content

The course offers students advanced knowledge of Latin syntax.

Learning outcome

Students at this course are expected to meet the following learning objectives, divided into knowledge and skills:

Knowledge

  • Students should acquire a more comprehensive and active knowledge of Latin morphology and syntax.

Skills

  • Students should acquire elementary skills of translating from Norwegian or English to Latin.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures and seminars.

A minimum of 75% attendance to lectures and seminars is obligatory. Absence above 25% requires an application at the start of the semester
