MA8406 - Advanced Algebraic Topology

The goal with the course is to give a solid background for studies in topology, and develop geometrical ideas and algebraic methods. The course supports studies in related subjects in algebra and geometry. Topics that can be discussed include products and power operations, K-theory, bordism theory, and many others.
The course is taught when needed.
1. Knowledge. The student has knowledge of advanced topics in algebraic topology.
2. Skills. The student is able to apply his or her knowledge of algebraic topology to formulate and solve problems of a geometric-topological nature.

MA3402 Analysis on Manifolds, MA3403 Algebraic Topology and TMA4190 Introduction to Topology.
