This includes conception, embryology, birth, infant and juvenile development, aging process and death. Genetics, ethics and pelvic anatomy are taught in the first semester.

The second semester starts with microbiology, immunology, endocrinology and nephrology. Then follows lectures on medical statistics and -epidemiology, before a larger session with pathology. The last part of the semester is devoted to pharmacology, environmental medicine and toxicology.
