About the course
Course content
The course provides the student with an insight in research methods relevant for the Master of science in Counselling and the Master of Science in Learning in Working Life and Society. This includes the presentation and discussion of methodology, philosophy of science and research ethics, as well as principles and challenges.
There will be a particular focus on analysis of empirical materials within the research process.
Learning outcome
Knowledge: The student has developed advanced knowledge in methodological and ethical challenges.
Skills: The student is able to critically and autonomously present, reflect on and assess research, and can carry out practical assignments.
General competence: The student has specialized insight into and understanding of methodology, philosophy of science and research ethics.
