About the programme
Economic research is an important input to political decision-making by clarifying relationships among economic variables and the consequences of different policy alternatives.
The purpose of the PhD program is to educate candidates that are able to conduct economic research at a high scientific level.

If you are self-financed, applications for admission to the PhD Programme are to be completed in cooperation with the intended supervisor. Applicants are therefore requested to contact the Department of Economics.

The Faculty is to appoint the supervisor(s). When more than one supervisor is appointed, one of them is to have the main disciplinary responsibility for the candidate's work.
