Location: Behind the main building at Gløshaugen

You will participate in this formal ceremony together with your buddy group. The ceremony will include musical performances, speeches and you will get a glimpse into life as a student at NTNU.

PANGSTART for all students (BA and MA) and faculty at NTNU Jazzlinja (jazz department)
Dates: Tuesday August 18 and Wednesday August 19 (daytime) - MA students only participate Tuesday!

TSO Festkonsert (Trondheim Symphony Orchestras honorary concert for students)

Thursday August 20 at 7pm, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra will play their yearly and traditional honorary concert for students in Trondheim - "Festkonsert - en hyllest til studentene". Our classical string, wind and percussion students participate as orchestra members this week and the soloists are also students from both the classical and jazz section.

The orchestra offer special student tickets at a two-for-one price, 100,- NOK.

09:30- 16:00 all MA performance students at Ringve Museum (more info to come)
If the weather is nice, it is possible to socialize/bathe outside afterwards.

Lectures start "Reflection in Musical Performance and Artistic Research" - 1st year MA (time and place TBA)

If you are a new master student at the Department of music and you wish to join Buddy Week activites (Fadderuka), you can contact the student union.

The student union for performing music students is called Notelinjeforeningen

Information about programme and sign-up will be provided.

Join Buddy week kick-off hosted by Studentersamfundet and get a social start of studies. All new students are welcome to participate

During the Orientation week, you will get to know NTNU, your city and other international students in fun ways, and learn everything you need to know to get started in Norway and settle in at NTNU. The Office of International Relations arranges the orientation week.
