As a graduate of the ProMan master's programme, you will be well prepared for the job market, with many students securing relevant positions even before completing their degree, and others shortly after graduation. The combination of technical insight and project management skills gives you a solid and versatile foundation for a wide range of career paths.
With this background, you can work across industries such as energy, construction, marine and other industries, trade, services, the public sector, and academia, both in Norway and internationally. Many graduates go on to roles such as project engineer, project manager, management consultant, ERP consultant, or work within engineering and software-related fields.

Crispin Torsvik

Meet Crispin. After graduating from ProMan in 2024, Crispin quickly secured a position as a Sales and Project Engineer at a leading pump manufacturer company.
“The MSc in Project Management at NTNU provided me with a strong foundation and positioned me as a competitive candidate in the job market. A summer internship led to a full-time role as a Sales and Project Engineer with a leading pump manufacturer in the maritime and offshore industry. My responsibilities include technical and commercial discussions with clients, as well as system and cost calculations. The programme’s focus on project management techniques and cultural understanding has been particularly useful in a globalized industry.”

During my internship at Framo AS, I worked in the Spare Parts Department within the Marine Division as a Consignment Stock Planner. In this role, I was responsible for ensuring that the right products were available in the right quantities, at the right locations, and at the right time.
My work involved handling urgent customer orders, which required close communication and coordination with customers, warehouses, and the purchasing department. This experience gave me valuable insight into supply chain operations, inventory management, and effective cross-departmental collaboration.
