Project Management - Master's Programme

Career opportunities

The first candidates from this programme graduated from NTNU in the fall of 2007. There has been no lack of job offers for the graduates, and most of them are now working within industry as trainees, in project teams, or in staff positions related to the development of systems for project selection, evaluation and/or management. Others are working as consultants, and several have continued into PhD programmes.

Name: Julie Haavi

Age: 25

Specialisation: Industrial Engineering

Study background: B.Sc Logistics Engineering

Company: Framo AS

About the work:

During my internship at Framo AS, I worked in the Spare Parts Department within the Marine Division as a Consignment Stock Planner. In this role, I was responsible for ensuring that the right products were available in the right quantities, at the right locations, and at the right time.

My work involved handling urgent customer orders, which required close communication and coordination with customers, warehouses, and the purchasing department. This experience gave me valuable insight into supply chain operations, inventory management, and effective cross-departmental collaboration.
