The evaluation phase

15 September 2016: Tenders issued to five pre-qualified suppliers

23 January 2017: Tender deadline for design-and-build contract

April 2017: Contractor is chosen and final cost framework is submitted

Refinement phase

May 2017: Announcement of supplier for design-and-build contract

October 2017: Contract signed with supplier of design-and-build contract

November 2017: Start of refinement phase

October 2017: Funding from the National Budget clarified

March 2018: Solutions have been processed

May 2018: Statsbygg sends their report on phase process of the feasability study to Backe

June 2018: Statsbygg sends the feasability study to the Ministry of Education and Research

The construction phase

2019: Expected construction start

2022: Expected completion
