The 8th seminar on Exercise in Medicine – the Webinar Edition

On the 14th–16th December, 2020, we arranged the 8th seminar on Exercise in Medicine – the Webinar Edition, with more than 400 online participants.

You can rewatch almost every session from the seminar at the recordings page.

Welcome to Exercise in Medicine

The goal of the 8th seminar on Exercise in Medicine – the Webinar Edition is to present and discuss recent progress in using exercise as medicine, and to preserve and establish networks for current and future research collaborations. Our three-day webinar assembles novice and experienced researchers within the fields of epidemiology, physiology and clinical cardiac cardiology as well as innovative health technology.

The program does not only include the effect of exercise/cardiorespiratory fitness on brain function, cardiovascular adaptations (molecular and structural), healthy aging and longevity. It also includes viral pandemic event protection, cardiac rehabilitation, wearable health care, and discussions on clinical and societal implementations.

Welcome to Exercise in Medicine – the Webinar Edition, that combines live-streamed talks from invited speakers, round table discussions and lightning talks (data blitz) with innovative and interactive ways of research communication and networking. Together, we bring the state of the science to researchers, clinicians and health authorities all over the world.
