The overarching goal of our team is to contribute research and innovation for an inclusive society and a sustainable health and welfare system.  

Our quickly changing society and demographics places increasing pressure on welfare services and community cohesion. What expectations do we have for our future  welfare services and the individuals’ participation and connection?

Important focus areas for the team are how inclusion in a community depends on connection between individuals via a shared means and system of communicative exchange. Furthermore, we will explore what potential new technologies represent for the required transformation of the welfare state and how we can reduce the side effects that come with the introduction of new technology to the greatest extent possible.
