At the end of January 2022, I left the Norwegian Universal Design Research Laboratory at the Faculty of Engineering to join the Faculty of Architecture and Design, the Department of Design at NTNU Gjøvik. Here I'm part of the research groups "Interplay" and "Design for health" and my main responsibilities are teaching, conducting research, and supervising – from undergraduates to PhDs – in the broad field of technology, humans, and society.
Ongoing research includes Web accessibility of Norwegian municipality websites, Speculative and critical design, Emancipatory design, Stigma-free design, and Universal design and Inclusive design in general.
Otherwise, I'm an eternal advocate for (creating) products, services, environments, etc. that are usable by as many people as possible and am always happy to contribute to the cause – whether in the role of a panellist or scientific committee member at conferences, as a peer reviewer for academic papers and books, or proud leader of the category for the "Young Talent" award at the Design and Architecture Norway (DOGA) "Innovation Prize for Inclusive Design" (https://doga.no/aktiviteter/dogas-priser/innovasjonsprisen-for-inkluderende-design/jury-2023/).

The Horizon 2020-project focused on promoting rural museums and heritage sites in the vicinity of European pilgrimage routes - together with partners from all over Europe.
My responsibility was to lead the work package for inclusive and universal design.
Towards Inclusive eLearning: Improving Accessibility of eLearning in Higher Education from Universal Design for Learning perspective: TINEL (2018-2022)
The Erasmus+ project was carried out in cooperation with six partners; one NGO and five higher education institutions from Finland, Sweden, Norway, and United Kingdom.
My responsibility was to lead the Norwegian partners.
