About

Quoc-Anh Tran is employed as a PhD Candidate in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at NTNU and a member of the Battery Materials Team at FACET (Functional Materials and Materials Chemistry Research Group). His research focuses on the optimization of cathode composites with argyrodite solid electrolytes revealed the influence of various parameters, including the particle morphology of the active materials, the nature and amount of the conductive additive, the particle size of the solid electrolyte, and the active material-to-solid electrolyte ratio, for the better performances of Argyrodite-Based State Lithium Batteries. Quoc-Anh's work is funded by International Christian Doppler (CD) Laboratory for Solid State Batteries and under the supervision of Professor Daniel Rettenwander

Quoc-Anh Tran obtained the Degree of Engineer in Chemical Engineering and Technology from Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (2019) and the Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (2022). The title of his Master thesis was ''Development of Li2ZrO3-coated NMC811 Cathode via Wet-Surface Coating Process and it's Electrochemical Evaluation in Argyrodite-Based Solid-State Batteries''.
