Education Integration

Research Area 8

Education Integration

This research area brings together universities, researchers, and companies to share knowledge, improve battery-related education, and prepare students for careers in the battery industry.

Education Integration within the FME BATTERY initiative is focused on strengthening the connection between education and industry in Norway’s battery sector. Its goal is to create a collaborative hub where researchers, students, and industry professionals can share knowledge, develop skills, and work together on cutting-edge battery technologies.

To help ensure that academic research is aligned with real-world industrial needs, we organize:

  • workshops
  • meetings
  • educational programs

This work also plays a key role in preparing students and researchers for careers in the battery industry. It supports the development of high-quality battery education by integrating research findings into university curricula and facilitating partnerships between academia and companies. Through these efforts, this work is helping to build a skilled workforce and accelerate innovation in Norway’s growing battery ecosystem.
