Long-term fundamental research is the basis for technological development and will be a significant part of FME Battery. However, the battery market develops at a fast pace, and it is important to accelerate innovation from research to implementation and make novel innovations more visible. Keeping up to speed with the rapidly changing market trends requires good communication between researchers and industry.

To ensure that the most promising research results and innovations are exploited for potential commercial implementation, we will facilitate good communication through:

• targeted workshops
• creating relevant meeting places 

Through market analysis and mapping of regulations and standards, we will identify bottlenecks and opportunities for Norwegian stakeholders along the battery value chain.
