About Global Health

Global Health at NTNU

The NTNU Global Health Team is an interdisciplinary team of researchers working to improve health equity and develop innovative solutions to global health challenges. We tackle key pressing health issues through cutting-edge research, education, and international collaboration, bringing together experts from medicine, public health, social sciences, architecture, and design.

Our research focuses on:

  • Health systems, services, and policy
  • Community-driven and participatory approaches
  • Digital health and innovative technologies
  • Gender, sexual, and reproductive health and rights
  • Health and humanitarian crises
  • Environmental determinants of health

We collaborate with global partners, policymakers, healthcare providers, and local communities to create practical, ethical, and evidence-based solutions.
