Our Research Activities

Our Research Activities

Here comes a brief introduction to our main research fields. Common to all our activities that we are mainly working with bacteria, focusing on metabolic engineering, gene expression, biopolymers, metagenomics, bioprospecting and development of new antibiotics. Several of our research activities are in close co-operation with the Biotechnology group at SINTEF Materials and Chemistry.
