* Both the MSc in Information Security and the Experience Based Master’s in Information Security are offered as full time and part time studies, in order to accommodate for studies in combination with professional careers.
** Master's Programme in Cybersecurity and Assurance (CYBERSURE) is an international Erasmus Mundus programme, where students will spend their first year in Trondheim and Gjøvik, and move to a partner university to conduct their second year.

Students on the programme in Communication Technology also have the opportunity of taking an integrated PhD degree from the fifth year of study and the second year of study respectively.

For students enrolled in Cyber Security and Data Communication and Digital Infrastructure and Cyber Security the department also offers an integrated PhD starting from the 4th or 2nd study year.
