This PhD project aims to find out how energy communities could promote sustainable energy uptake to accelerate the green transition, decrease energy poverty and vulnerability, and educate people about sustainable behaviours.

About the project

About the project

I am pursuing a PhD in energy poverty and community energy schemes in Norway and Denmark. Additionally, I am involved in the ACCTING European research project, specifically contributing to research line three, which aims to eradicate energy poverty and facilitate behavioural change within energy communities at individual and collective levels.

I hold a master’s degree in urban planning from Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) in Tehran, Iran. My master’s dissertation focused on collaborative planning to address climate change, utilising quantitative and qualitative data analysis to propose potential scenarios with Tehran as a case study.

Furthermore, I obtained my bachelor’s degree in urban studies from Guilan University in Guilan, Iran. My bachelor’s dissertation centered on traffic calming and promoting walkability in urban areas.
