At the Department of Historical and Classical Studies we teach, research and present findings from within the fields of archaeology, European studies, history, classical studies and cultural heritage management. In partnership with the Norwegian Defense University College we offer a master's programme entitled War and Society.

The different fields cover topics from the origins of man to our time. The department offers programmes and courses at bachelor, master and PhD levels.
