  • [23.01.2023] - Today, PhDs Gianmarco Saponaro and Davide d'Amato from the Polytechnic University of Bari have been visiting us to present and discuss their research work on prescriptive digital twins. It has been a constructive exchange of ideas leading to future collaborations.

  • [19.12.2022] - We would like to congratulate Siamak Karimi on successfully defending his dissertation with the title 'Shore-to-Ship Charging Systems for Battery-Electric Ships: Power Systems Architecture, Performance Analysis and Future Trends'and earning his doctoral degree!
      
  • [09.08.2022] - We will be part of the upcoming FLEXSHIP project. The EU Horizon project will facilitate the transition to climate neutral waterborne transportation by means of electrification and Green Digital Twins (GDT).
  • [28.07.2022] - Prof. Minjoo Choi and two of his master students from the Korea Maritime and Ocean University were visiting us. Prof. Choi gave an introduction to the OASYS Lab (Optimization and Artificial intelligence for marine SYStems LAB) at his university.
  • [24.06.2022] - We would like to congratulate Pramod Ghimire on successfully defending his dissertation with the title 'Simulation-Based Ship Hybrid Power System Concept Studies and Performance Analyses' and earning his doctoral degree!

2021

 

  • Mehdi will be a panellist at the upcoming ISGT conference, with the title: "Electrification and digitalization pathway on land, at sea & in the air".
  • We are proud to be part of the "INTERPORT" project which focuses on integrated energy systems in ports of the future. The project starting in 2021 has a duration of 4 years and is coordinated by SINTEF Energi. Our team will contribute by modelling and optimizing marine energy systems.
  • We welcome Marius Hatlehol as a new candidate and member of Hybrid Power lab. Marius is going to work on modeling, design and control of hybrid electric power and propulsion for future low-emission and autonomous vessels.
