Once a month, researchers from different fields meet at the Department of Education and Lifelong Learning for the C&Y seminar (Childhood and Youth Studies Seminar). While we have different backgrounds and research interests, what we have in common is that we are all interested in child and youth related research.

Usually, one of the seminar participants will present a text that he or she has written, and we will spend one and a half hour discussing the text, or concepts emerging from the discussion that we find interesting. Thus, the seminar is a great way of getting feedback on writing in progress, while at the same time having discussions on related topics seen from different viewpoints. We also invite guest presenters to talk about their research.

New participants to the Childhood and Youth Studies Seminar are always welcome. If you are interested in participating, please contact Ingvild.
