Course content

The course consists of an independent project under supervision. The topic for the project is to be chosen in consultancy with the supervisor.

Learning outcome

The student can write a text on a given topic in mathematics or mathematics education in a precise and concise manner.

Learning methods and activities

No scheduled teaching. The student will work with a project under supervision. This project will be handed in for assessment and is assessed with Pass/Not pass.

Further on evaluation

If the candidate has used a tool for artificial intelligence when producing the exam text, the text must contain a description stating which tool(s) were used and how they were used. Verbatim reproduction of AI-generated text must be clearly marked so that it is easy to see what is a quote and what is the candidate's own text. This also applies to AI-generated images, codes etc. When submitting the exam text, a completed declaration about AI aids, as prepared by the IE faculty, must be attached.
