The Master Thesis

The master’s thesis is the final test in the Industrial Design programme.
The thesis gives the candidates the opportunity to show that they are able to use the knowledge and skills they have acquired throughout their studies.

The thesis may be formulated within 3 main categories:

  1. Practical (design project)
  2. Theoretical (specialization project)
  3. A combination of these.

The submitted material must include sufficient documentation of results and the working process.

The Department of Design arranges a master’s thesis exhibition in January, where all master’s theses are presented. After submitting their thesis, the candidates will present their projects for sensors and partners. This presentation is part of the examination result basis.
