Welcome day for new female students on August 10th

Welcome day for new female students on August 10th

Before enrollment and the official start of the academic year, NTNU and Hypatia invite new female students in technology programs in Ålesund to a welcome day. Here, you will meet your future classmates and new students from other programs. You will receive information about the offerings of the Hypatia and Ada projects. This day is optional, and you won't miss any academic content if you cannot attend. The purpose is simply to get to know each other, enjoy good food, and have fun together.

Registration closes on Friday, August 8th at 12:00 PM.

Matriculation ceremony – welcome ceremony for new students at NTNU

Time: 12:45 PM - 14:00 PM
Location: Vrimla, the commen area at 1st floor in Ankeret, Campus Ålesund

You will participate in this formal ceremony together with your buddy group. The ceremony will include musical performances, speeches and you will get a glimpse into life as a student at NTNU.

Location: Room Vrimla, the commen area at 1st floor in Ankeret

  • Lab to lab

Join an engaging tour of the laboratories and simulators, with quiz and competitions. Prizes for the winning team. Cinnamon buns will be served at around 13:30 PM.


Thursday, August 14

Time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Location: Room B332 at 3rd floor in Ankeret

  • Lunch
  • Industry day with the local business community

Meet companies that could be potential employers during or after your studies. Lunch will be served at 12:00 PM. Allergy-friendly options will be available.
