The Master's in Management of Innovation and Sustainable Business Development is a two-year, full-time programme worth 120 ECTS credits, with 30 ECTS credits completed each semester.

The programme combines courses in innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, business development and change management with opportunities to shape your studies through electives and practical experience.

In your third semester, you can add an international or professional dimension to your degree by studying abroad, take part in Gründerskolen (The Norwegian School of Entrepreneurship) or completing an internship with an organisation. The programme concludes with a master's thesis, where you can explore a topic relevant to your interests and future career

Admission requirements

Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, innovation, entrepreneurship, management, organizational studies or equivalent with a grade point average of at least C.

The bachelor's degree must have been completed by the start of the semester at NTNU in August and must include at least 80 ECTS in courses within business, economics, management, marketing, innovation, entrepreneurship or organizational studies.

For students at NTNU in Aalesund, the following bachelor degrees are accepted for qualification into the programme:

• Bachelor in marketing, innovation and management
• Bachelor in business administration
• Bachelor in biomarine innovation
• Bachelor in shipping management
