The program focuses on themes within innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, leadership, change management and project management. The program is taught through English, encouraging an international mindset and a chance to further develop your English language skills.

  • In the first semester, you will be introduced to the fundamental elements of the program through courses in entrepreneurship, management, and change management. You will also take an introductory course in research methods.
  • In the second semester, you will deepen your understanding of innovation, ESG, sustainability, and research. All master’s students at NTNU are also required to take the course Experts in Teamwork (EiT). You can read more about it here: https://www.ntnu.no/eit
  • In the third semester, you have the opportunity to go on exchange or take courses here in Ålesund. You may also choose an internship as an elective in the third semester.
  • In the fourth semester, you will write your master’s thesis equivalent to 30 credits. This will be your opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge and skills you have acquired throughout the master’s program.
