Yes. MSPROMAN is an NTNU international programme and as such it is entirely taught in English.

Students develop skills in project leadership, analysis, planning, decision-making, and teamwork. The research component of the program (specialization project and master thesis) also strengthens analytical and research abilities.

Students who go on exchange do so in the second semester. This is the spring semester of the first year.

The application deadline is in the first semester, only a few weeks after the start of the programme. The Project Management program follows NTNU’s standard exchange deadlines and procedures. There is no separate internal deadline for the program.

Students should start exploring exchange opportunities at the beginning of the first semester of study if they plan to study abroad as part of the programme.

Yes. Many PROMAN students obtain relevant summer internships each year. However, the programme does not award academic credit for internships.

No. An internship is not required to write the master’s thesis, nor does the programme award academic credit for an internship.

NTNU requires three weeks of relevant work experience for two-year engineering master’s degrees. This worklife experience must be completed before starting work on the master’s thesis. Previous employment can be used to meet this requirement.

Students choose their specialization early in the first semester.
