Acland Anatomy

 

Acland Anatomy contains videos of human anatomy and dissection in an educational way. All the human parts are real, and in natural colour. ALogo for Acland Anatomy narrator comments on the dissection to highlight what is shown, supported by arrows and texts. Visible Body

 

Visible Body is an interactive online resource for learning anatomy and physiology. We have access to five modules: Logo for Visible Body

  • Human Anatomy Atlas is an interactive 3D model of the human body, Check out this video demonstration. 
  • Muscle Premium focuses on the muscles of the body more specifically how they work in movements.
  • Anatomy & Function is a visual and interactive module with 3D animations showing topics in anatomy and physiology in an unique way.
  • Anatomy & Physiology presents physiology and anatomy through 3D models, animations and illustrations.
  • Physiology Animations is a video collections of 3D animations within physiology and pathology.

Unfortunately, the mobile and tablet apps for Visible Body are not available anymore.

 MedOne Clinical Capsules

 

MedOne Clinical Capsules contains 14 clinical learning modules from MedOne Education (which also includes several text books from the publisherLogo for MedOne Clinical Capsules Thieme). The modules covers most main medical disciplines and organ systems.

 


 Clinical Anatomy

 

Clinical Anatomy is a free anatomy resource from The Medical Faculty of University of British Colombia. It contains anatomical illustrations,Logo for Clinical Anatomy resourse animations, videos and digital lectures.


Virtual Reality Anatomy and Pathology Project 

 

The Virtual Reality Anatomy and Pathology Project is a free resource from The HIVE, The University of British Columbia. This resource provides aLogo for The Virtual Reality Anatomy and Pathology Project virtual learning environment where a student can work interactivly with real anatomical scans and pathological objects. This resource is a supplement to lab work and experience with anatomical specimens. Google Chrome is the recommended browser for this resource.

This is an antomy and physiology web page for students with nursing, health science, paramedicine or sport. It contains information for differentLogo for anatomy resource for nurses topics with in anatomy and physiology, often with quizes with more than 1200 questions. The web page is adapted to mobile and tablet use. This resource is produced by Department of Health Sciences in Gjøvik. Available in Norwegian only.

 

HS Talks - The Biomedical & Life Sciences Collection

This online resource contains 2000 video lectures by leading experts (some Nobel prize winners) covering biomedicine and life sciences. In addtionLogo for HS-talks video lectures to choosing your area of interest, you can also choose the level for the lecture (ranging from beginner to highly advanced). NTNU or Central Norway Regional Health Authority network is required to get access to this resource. The video lectures can be found in Oria. An easy way to find them is to limit your search to "Videos" in the right menu.

Are you a teacher? You can use the whole video lecture or choose a particular part of the lecture in the classroom. You can also share the link to lectures (or part of it) with the students Click on «Embed in Course/Own Notes» to link the video to your lecture


Clinical Key

There are around 850 video lectures in medicine and health sciences in Clinical Key. Students and staff at NTNU and St. Olavs Hospital have accessLogo for Clinical Key to Clinical Key Student by using NTNU or St. Olavs network. Staff belonging to other parts of Central Norway Regional Health Authority (Helse Midt-Norge) have access to   Clinical Key Physician when using local network. Please note that it is necessary to create a personal user to use Clinical Key.


Kliniske Undersøkelser

Kliniske Undersøkelser (Clinical Investigations/Methods) is a video book published by Center of Assessment in Medical Education atBook front for the book Kliniske undersøkelser Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, NTNU in 2020. The book has text and QR-codes to associated video materials. This book is only available in Norwegian.

 

 

 

DIMEANE - Nursing Education


This is an e-learning tool for nursing education produced by the Erasmus+ program. This interactive tool has reviews of different topics with the theAn illustration for the e-learning tool DIMEANE for nursing education area of interest for nursing students on a bachelor level. The resource is available as e-compendium, app and podcast.
