Odd Johan Overøye is a composer and associate professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology – the Department of Music. He has trained in Trondheim and Los Angeles, including studies with film composer Jack Smalley. His production includes vocal and instrumental works in most formats, including music theatre, chamber music, electro-acoustic projects and educational music. Using references to folk music, popular music and classical traditions, he has arranged and composed for a wide variety of artists, orchestras and CD productions.
