Martine Sletten
About
I am a PhD Candidate at The Center for Gender Research, working on an action research project about diversity and inclusion in academia. My data material consists of interviews and fieldwork. I work in the intersection between queer studies and feminist organisation studies.
During the fall semester in 2024 I will spend 3 months as a guest researcher in Japan, at Ochanomizu University in Tokyo.
During spring 2023 I cooperated with Julie Katrine Flikke on creating knowledge about how different leaders at Norwegian universities conceptualise and work with diversity. This was in connection to the research project GENDIM - Understanding gender imbalances among university professors: the shaping and reshaping of epistemic living spaces that was being wrapped up.
Previously I’ve been a research assistant on a pilot project about a micro-phenomenological approach to every mechanisms of inclusion and exclusion, where I conducted a literature review for the project.
