Background and activities

I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture, Centre for Technology and Society. My background is in Social Anthropology (M.A) and Arts and Culture Studies (B.A.)

The working title of my PhD project is Innovation, engagement and justice across the life cycle: a socio-technical analysis of resource flows serving Nordic mobility transitions.

My project aims to explore socio – technical relations that batteries enter from ‘cradle to grave’ – or ‘afterlife’. Case studies will provide practice – oriented analysis of processes that primarily have been studied through life cycle analysis. In my project I am also focusing on energy justice and societal changes that occur during energy transitions.
