These facilities comprise a well-equipped kitchen connected to a purpose-built test room with 12 booths. Lighting in the test room can be adjusted to either daylight, lamplight or red light (for masking colours).
These facilities comprise a variety of small scale food production equipment, such as: Brewing equipment, Fermentors, Sausage stuffer, Smoking cabinet, Membrane filtration unit, Pasteurisation equipment, Packaging equipment (vacuum and MAP) and heat-processing equipment.
