ICT, Knowledge and Culture

The emergence of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) represent new opportunities, such as learning, arranging, storing and reuse of knowledge and distributed communication. At the same time, we can observe that the importance of time, space, physical distance and social affiliation is changing, redefined and partially loses its traditional meaning.

Projects:
• Synthetic cooperation and learning: A study of knowledge production and  design  in online computer games (Ph.D - Kristine Ask)
• Norwegian Local Communities' Strategies for Implementing 'Community Informatics' (Ph.D. - Lucia Muñoz Liste)
