Terms of use

By using our services you accept our terms of use.

Co-authorship

If highly qualified technical personnel or scientific personnel contribute with their scientific knowledge to solve the scientific questions, they should be co-authors according to the "ICMJE Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals concerning Authorship and Contributor ship".

Use of instruments and assisted use of instruments in well-known methods and performed by technical staff, is not enough to require co-authorship.p

The core facility should always be mentioned in the acknowledgements when data acquired at a core facility is submitted for publishing. Please use the following sentences:

" The "XXX work/service" was provided by the Genomics Core Facility (GCF), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). GCF is funded by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at NTNU and Central Norway Regional Health Authority.”
