Historically, the construction industry has been a tough project-based market with low margins and strong competition. As technology and society have evolved, projects have become increasingly complex.

In his PhD, Atle Engebø studied project delivery methods for construction projects with a focus on collaborative project delivery models. A good example of such a collaborative project is the ZEB Laboratory, which has now been built on NTNU’s Gløshaugen campus.
