Working at NTNU

Working at NTNU

NTNU is an attractive workplace with several campuses in Norway.

About NTNU – facts and figures.

Academic posts

Our work areas consist mainly of research and teaching posts in a variety of academic disciplines and range from junior academic positions such as research assistants and PhD candidates to associate professors (“førsteamanuensis” or “dosent”) and professors.

Technical and administrative positions

If you want an academic career, NTNU offers you a wealth of opportunities. Effective administration and infrastructure are important for supporting core activities, research and education. NTNU has many technical and administrative positions that keep the university functioning smoothly. We constantly need skilled employees who can provide new expertise in areas such as IT, finance, HR and communication.

NTNU in several cities

NTNU has its headquarters in Trondheim with campuses in Gjøvik and Ålesund.
We also have an Oslo office for continuing education and professional development and a Brussels Office for European collaboration.

Campus development at NTNU

Over the next ten years, NTNU’s academic communities in Trondheim will be gathered from dispersed locations to a unified campus in the area around Gløshaugen.
