Biometrics
Trustworthy biometric identity verification, including presentation attack detection, injection attack detection, synthetic and multimodal biometrics, explainability and fairness.
Socio-technical systems
Analysis of how technology, institutions and people shape opportunities for retail and digital banking fraud—and how those opportunities can be reduced.
Cognitive
Methods for mapping user intent before and during authentication so that manipulation, uncertainty and coercion can be considered earlier.
